Description

The 6.6-inch (165mm) tall two legged robot with a camera that can play music, dance, pick itself up when it falls and respond to user's commands. I-SOBOT has a built in voice sensor that allows the robot to dance with music. It has voice recognition capabilities and can respond to up to 10 vocal commands. It can also make its own punching and kicking sound effects.

The robot is equipped with 17 servo motors provided throughout the body and also a gyro sensor. It is capable of making different kinds of smooth motions while automatically balancing itself. It features 5 modes of operation: five operational modes: remote control mode, programmed mode, special action mode, voice control mode and dance mode.

The i-SOBOT includes an LCD-equipped remote for having the bot act out 18 pre-programmed motions like playing air guitar, mimicking a flying eagle, somersault etc.. You can steer the robot by pressing control buttons and moving the joystick. It can be controlled by up to 2 remotes at the same time.

I-SOBOT can also be controlled also by voice. It recognizes 10 voice commands. Say 'How are you?' and i-SOBOT will bow and greet you with a prerecorded greeting message.

I-Sobot CAM version is equiped with a head mounted 300k pixel camera that can beam pics to your PC or phone via WiFi. The head can swivel 60 degrees in each direction.

The robot runs on the bundled AAA rechargeable Nickel batteries. Three more AA batteries for IR remote control unit.

Programming

You can program action sequences like waving good-byes and doing push-ups. Maximum 80 basic actions can be combined to form a sequence. i-SOBOT holds three different sequences in its memory, altogether 240 actions.
