Description
Robopanda it is a robo-bear that features many advanced sensors including a head-mounted IR sensor and stereo sound. It reads bedtime stories, interacts with an included robopanda-mini and delivers bear hugs.
You interact with this toy by activating his sensors located throughout his body. It can conduct a conversation, read stories, play interactive games and sing songs. Robopanda responses are based on the user interaction.
This robobear is equipped with touch (8), infrared, stereo and tilt sensors. It can avoid obstacles, track objects and locate sound sources. It can sit, crawl, walk on all fours, roll over and hug using ultra-quiet motors that are barely audible to the human ear.
It has several moods that will change based on the interaction. These interactions can be expanded by switching out the interchangeable cartridges.

| I've been an avid viewer of the San Diego Zoo PandaCam for many years. I always felt great appreciation for the generous sponsors of the PandaCam. Yes, I noticed who they were, and I remembered them when doing business.What a disagreeable experience to suddenly find that the new sponsor - "Wowwee's Robopanda" - feels the need to place a totally intrusive and annoying advertisement each time a viewer wishes to check on the panda family.I would have had an interest in the product (due to my obvious love of pandas), but this display totally dissuaded me. I will never do business with a company that has such obnoxious advertising ploys. |
