Roboquad is a four-legged spider-like robot with unprecedented mobility and awareness. It is able to quickly react to the surrounding environment and pursue a moving object in any direction (i.e. forward, backwards and sideways).
Its head rotates around so that it is able to monitor its environment without having to move its body first. It can sweep the room with a tightly focused infrared beam and make rapid decisions about how to react to its environment. The sensitive infrared detector can not only see objects as far as 13 feet away, but also identify the size of objects and even spatial details such as the edge of a doorway. Once identified it can pursue the moving object.
Roboquad can move fast in any direction with three speeds. It can navigate through doorways and detect table edges.
This spider robot is equipped with sound, light and proximity sensors so it reacts to sound and it can tell the difference between dark and light. It has multiple modes including awareness and aggressiveness.
This quadruped can also act as a security system and scare off the intruder with crazy sound effects.
The robot features a 4-layer full-function remote to either cycle through 72 pre-programmed functions or directly control/programme it yourself.
