iRobi the Home Robot is designed to be an automated companion. It understands and reacts to voice commands, charges itself, takes pictures with its 1.3 megapixel digital camera, provides the weather forecast and news. It can monitor your home, teach your children, play games, karaoke and provide recipes.
iRobi can be remotely controlled via the web and has a surveillance camera. For instance is can transmit home monitoring images to cell phone. The robot has a built-in technology, which enables it to move freely. It can also tutor kids with his integrated display. For now, the robot's software is limited to teaching English to Korean children.
It can express emotions by changing the shape of its mouth and eyes and facial expressions. Its large color LCD touch - display screen (800 x 480) allows you to navigate between menu options, display photographs, play games etc. iRobi Q understand voice commands made up of approximately 1,000 different words.
